Evidence of the funding role
The bank publishes its own business-loan and credit-line products and a direct business financing enquiry route.
The bank’s business-financing page distinguishes loans from credit lines. Its product selection is a starting point; underwriting and the final offer determine availability.

Our comparison analysis
A fixed investment versus repeat borrowing
Separate a one-time investment from a recurring operating gap before requesting an offer. If the project needs a fixed amount on one date, compare the term loan’s full schedule. If the need fluctuates with customer collections, ask about the line’s review, draw and repayment conditions. Existing banking relationships may affect the application process but should not replace a comparison of usable cash, fees and security. Keep the same project budget when asking another provider for a quote.
Worked planning example
Illustrative: a USD 70,000 fit-out and a USD 15,000 seasonal stock gap are two needs. Ask for separate pricing and repayment assumptions so a short stock cycle is not hidden inside long-term renovation debt.
Hypothetical assumptions, not a provider quote or an underwriting rule.
Questions to put in writing
- What must be satisfied before the first advance?
- Does the line require periodic renewal or balance reduction?
- What happens to fees and interest on early repayment?
Request a dated proposal identifying the contracting lender, lessor or factor, every compulsory charge, the payment schedule and the conditions that remain before funding.
